Team practices are conducted in Alexandria, utilizing both indoor and outdoor facilities to accommodate various training needs and weather conditions.

Under the guidance of our dedicated volunteer coaching staff, practices at Alexandria Royals Fastpitch are designed to maximize player development. Our coaches emphasize teaching the fundamentals of softball through a variety of drills and exercises that focus on essential skills such as hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running.

Additionally, our coaching staff integrates situational awareness training, helping players understand game scenarios, decision-making processes, and strategies to enhance their in-game performance.

Good sportsmanship is a core value at Alexandria Royals Fastpitch. Our coaches’ model and teach respect for teammates, opponents, and officials, fostering an environment of integrity and positive conduct both on and off the field.

Alexandria Royals Fastpitch participates in USSSA and USA Softball tournaments as well as local doubleheaders.
